12.6 - Quotations with Sub-Organizations

With Different Sub-Organizations comes different kinds of Quotations. In this lesson, we’re going to dive deeper into your options with Sub-organizations and quotations. So let’s dive into Elfsquad.

Transfer Function

The first option we’re going to look into is the transfer function. This function let's the Admin of your Sub-organization send a quotation from a Main Organization to a designated Sub-organization or vice versa. The quotation will be sent to the Sub-organization with all the information and configurations. To use this function you first have to, if you haven’t already, activate it. To do this, you go to the setting page followed by the quotations page. Scroll down to the workflow field.

By default, the transfer button isn’t visible. You can make it visible on every step of your quotation workflow. For now we are checking the box in the column of concept. Click on the save button in the lower right corner.

When you open a quotation, you will see the transfer button in the upper right corner. When you click on this button, you can transfer the quotation to a sub-organization or a main organization. For now we’ll send the quotation to the sub-organization you’ve created. When you check the sub organization, you will see that the quotation is now on the quotations page of the Sub organization.

Quotation templates for Sub-organizations

Within Elfsquad there is also a possibility to have multiple Quotation Templates for every Sub-organization. So let’s also link a template to a sub-organization.

Go to the Templates page. Here you will see the quotation templates. By clicking on the Sub-organizations button, you will open a new window. Here you can define which Sub-organization can use certain quotation templates. In this case we have only selected one Quotation template. So the quotation will always be generated with this template. You can also select multiple templates if this applies to your sub-organization.

Check on your Sub-organization as a Main-organization. 

By clicking in the banner of Elfsquad, you can select as which organization you want to view the EMS. By selecting the sub-organization you can go to the settings and give the Sub-organization its own theming and quotation workflows from the settings page.
