What does a Require do?
If you set a Require on a Feature, then another Feature becomes mandatory in order for that Feature to be selected.
The Features for the back end
Recreate the structure below for the Roadmaster 100.
Requires Setting
The Features Door Holders and 270 Degree Hinges can only be used in conjunction with the Feature Rear Doors. We are going to set this up with a Require.
-
Click on the first number behind the Feature Door Holders.
-
In the window that now opens, find the Feature Rear Doors.
-
Select Rear Doors and click on 'OK'.
-
Repeat steps 1 through 3 also for the Feature 270 degree hinges.
By the numbers behind a Feature you can see if and also how many Constraints have been set on a Feature. A Feature can also contain several Constraints of the same type. If, before selecting the Feature Door Holders, further Features are mandatory you can therefore set them all.
Require as a suggestion
You can also use a Require as a suggestion, where a Feature is selected by default. But the selection of a Feature can also be undone. You turn a Require into a suggestion by clicking on the check mark of the Require.
Assignment
Set a Require for the Feature Top Valve to the Feature Load Valve.
