Welcome to the Elfsquad Product Configurator! In this article we will briefly explain how products are configured using the Elfsquad Product Configurator. Elfsquad Product Configurator will from this point on be referred to as 'Configurator'.
Using the Configurator, you are not only able to manage products and configuration models, but also quotations, prices, and suborganizations. In other words, the Configurator is a management system on its own. Leading to its nickname: Elfsquad Management System (EMS).

1. Configuring
You are able to configure products in the EMS on the Order entry page. When you click on a product in the overview, you can directly begin configuring.
On the Order entry page, you configure your products. Next, you can convert the Order entry of your configuration to a quotation. This is what led to Order Entry's namesake: the orders come in here.
2. Configuration models
In the Order entry products are configured based on configuration models. The structure of a configuration model is determined on the Configuration models page. Which is why a configuration model is often called a structure. A structure can look like the following example:
You are able to locate the Configuration models page in the navigation panel, under Master data. Read more about the Configuration models page in section Configuration models.
3. Features
A configuration model consists of Features. A Feature usually represents a product. Features are the building blocks for configuration models. You can find the Features page, too, under Master data in the navigation panel. Read more about Features in the section 'Features'.
