Once you've established the integration between Elfsquad and Business Central, a lot of customization options becomes available. In this module, we take a closer look into the customization options for your Business Central integration.
Items Page
After you've set up the Elfsquad integration, the Features Database will be merged with your items page in Business Central. However, you can customize the amount of Features that will be sent over to Business Central.
When you open an item, you can navigate to the bottom to find the Elfsquad section. Here, you can choose whether the item should synchronize with Elfsquad. If enabled, all relevant information pertaining to Elfsquad will be transmitted.
Elfsquad Sales Price is a Custom Business Central field that is used to fill the Sales Price in Elfsquad. This field can be filled in through custom calculation or filled manually.
Feature Properties / Item Attributes
You can create Non-associated Feature properties in Business Central. Head to the item Attributes page, where you'll find a 'synchronize to Elfsquad' checkbox in the last column. An item attribute in Business Central corresponds to a Feature property. Synchronizing a new Attribute to Elfsquad generates a new Feature Property.
Additionally, you can link item attributes with item attribute values. When editing an item in Business Central, you can associate an item attribute by clicking on it and selecting 'edit'. If the attribute is synchronized to Elfsquad, the corresponding Feature in Elfsquad will possess the same property.
Units of Measure
The Units of Measure page also contains a Synchronize to Elfsquad option. Enabling this option ensures synchronization between Units of Measurement and the EMS.
Translations
Translations for Features can also be added from Business Central. Access a Feature and navigate to item Translations. Alternatively, search for item translations while on the item page. Here, you can add new translations that will be automatically synchronized.
The system facilitates customer synchronization to Elfsquad through a 'Synchronize to Elfsquad' button. By default, when synchronizing Customers, the company contact and a default contact are synchronized to Elfsquad. Additional contacts can be synchronized by checking the 'Synchronize to Elfsquad' field on the Contact Card.
Business Central also allows users to add Elfsquad Properties to the customer card. Simply scroll down on the right side of the Customer card screen to add Elfsquad Properties. These properties must be created with the required values in Elfsquad.
