9.7 - Transfer test environment to live environment

Some of the users want to first link their Elfsquad Environment to a test Environment in Exact Online. To make sure everything is working correctly. But at some point those users want to convert to a live environment of Exact Online. In this video, we will go over the steps to show you how to transfer from a test environment to a live environment.

Deleting References

If you want to transfer the environments, it is important to delete the references to the test environment from your Elfsquad Environment. The best way to do that, is by using the Elfsquad Excel add-in. You can find more information on the Elfsquad excel add-in in the Excel add-in module.

To delete the references in the Excel add-in, follow these steps:

1. Open Excel

2. Click on the Elfsquad add-in

3. Open the 'Features' data sheet

4. Clear all the data in th reference column. 

Note: you only have to delete the Reference for the Features that are linked to Exact Online.

Transfer environments 

Now that the references have been deleted between the test environment en Elfsquad, we can go back to Elfsquad and select another division. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open Elfsquad.

2. Go to the integrations page

3. Open the settings of the Exact Online integration.

4. Select the division of your live environment. 

5. Reset the date for the last Synchronization. 

6. Save the settings 

7. Click on the Synch. Button of the integration.

Note: Repeat these steps for the CRM accounts and CRM contacts as well.

If everything is done right, the Existing Features will now be linked to the articles from your Live Exact Online environment. Make sure the item codes in the test environment and live environment have the same codes to let them automatically link to the Features in Elfsquad.
