9.2 - How to add and link Exact Online to Elfsquad

If you want to use the Exact Online integration, you first need to add it to you EMS. In this model, we are going to show you how you can add the Exact Online integration to you environment and how you can linke Exact Online to your Elfsquad environment to transfer information from and to Exact Online. 

How to link Exact Online to Elfsquad

Before we can use the Exact Online integration for Elfsquad, you first need to add the integration to your environment. You can do this by following the steps below.

1. Open the EMS. 

2. Click on the integrations button in the menu on the left. 

3. Click on the plus button in the lower right corner. 

A list will pop up with all the integrations that you can connect to Elfsquad. To add a Exact Online integrations please note that you have to select the right Exact Online environment. As you can see there are multiple options to add a Exact Online integration. 

4. Add the integration by clicking on the Add button. 

5. You can see that the exact integration is now added to your environment.                                   

Activating the integration.

The integration has been added to Elfsquad but it still needs to be activated and linked to your Exact Online environment. So let’s activate the Integration.

1. Click on the “activate” button. 

2. Login by using your Exact Online credentials

3. Your Exact Online integration has been succesfully added to Elfsquad.

Important settings

Now that you have added the integration to your environment, it is wise to take a look at one of the most important settings.

Division

When you click on the settings button, a new window appears. In this dropdown, you can determine which division is selected to work in. Make sure that the right division is selected. You can for example first work in a test division before you go over to your live division in Elfsquad.
